Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles in the way he's known in the world of pop music, is a British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. His parents include Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on 1st February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where, along with three schoolmates He formed his own band, White Eskimo. After winning the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, they also participated in the 2010 Battle of Bands. While he's always fascinated by music, he was also hoping to be an lawyer or physical therapist. For a while he worked part-time in a bakery within his town to help financially at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. This is why his band was split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge that suggested Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. The group performed The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. In consequence, they were one of the finalist. Despite this, they finished third, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell didn't win the competition. However Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
