Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa white-gluz was lead vocalist of The Agonist and is currently singer-songwriter for Swedish popular Death Metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31 1986) is a Canadian singer and songwriter, who is most famous for her role as lead singer of the Swedish melody-based death metal band Arch Enemy, and former the lead singer and founding member of the Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. She sings with both smooth and grizzly vocals. While she is mainly associated with melodic metalcore and death metal, she has appeared as singer-in-residence for various power metal, symphonic metal and deathcore acts, such as Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf as well as performed live in concert with Nightwish as well as Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz (2004-2014). The year was 2004 and White-Gluz with co-members Danny Marino, Chris Kells and Chris Kells formed the band The Agonist in Montreal, Quebec. White-Gluz released three albums as the lead singer for The Agonist. Her departure came at the beginning of spring 2014 when she was asked to become the singer of Arch Enemy.
